Frequently Asked Questions

What treats do I bring to class?

Please bring a pouch, baggies, or an apron with room for different proteins. Soft, high value treats such as cut up hotdogs, rotisserie chicken, cubed cheese, small pieces of beef, or commercial food cut into small cubes.

What should we wear to class?

Please wear close-toed, comfortable shoes such as sneakers. Your dog should be wearing a properly fitted collar and a six foot leather, biothane, rope, or nylon leash. Flexi-leads, flip-flops, sandals, and heels are not allowed.

My female dog is in season. Can she come to class?

Please do not attend class if your dog is in season. Let us know as soon as possible and we will discuss moving your classes or offering private lessons.

Should I feed my dog their meal before class?

It's better to bring a hungry dog to class. Not only will you be replacing those calories with treats, but your dog will also be happier to receive them.
